Mrs. Donna Hancock

My name is Donna J. Hancock. I am a licensed school counselor and have served in the educational field for 24 years, with most of my experience being with Gaston County Schools in North Carolina.   This is my second year with York District One and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share and help students reach their highest potential.  

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Shaw University in Raleigh, NC and a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC.  

It is my goal to help students see beyond their present circumstance, to work diligently and consistently to become better versions of themselves.
