Dress Code
Students are expected to be in uniform each day. Details about uniform requirements can be found below!
2026-2027 YOA Student Uniform and Dress Code Requirements
Daily Uniform
Khaki 4 pocket pants black, blue or khaki
Polo Shirt gray, white, blue and black
Following items are not allowed: Pajama Pants, Leggings, athletic workout pants (yoga, sweat, etc), head wear, bandanas, scarfs, bonnets, or any other items tied around head of decorative hair accessories.
HOODIES ARE NOT ALLOWED inside the building. Students must take off hooded shirt or jacket to leave at front when entering the building.
**PANTS MUST FIT AT THE WAIST** No Sagging Permitted
*No additional clothing other than undergarments may be worn under pants
Shoes
· Must be worn at all time with socks.
· Shoes must be removed when entering the building for check in procedures.
Electronics
· Per State Law Electronic Devices are not allowed during school hours. Any Phones or smart watches that are brought into the building will be collected in a locked container that is numbered for each student upon entry of the school and will be returned at the end of the day to the student before leaving campus.
The following are not allowed
· Cups, Tumblers, Stanley Straw Tumbler, Bookbags, Blankets, purses or drawstring bags of any kind.
· Pens, Pencils, Sharpies or any other school supplies. Students do not need to bring any supplies with them. All items are provided in the building to students. If a student would like to bring in a particular item they must share that during orientation and bring the first day to leave in their cubby at YOA.
Allowed
· A lunch box will be allowed but will be searched upon entering the building. All food must be in a bag or lunchbox when entering building.
· Any snacks that are open or not in a lunch bag will be discarded in the trash once entering through check-in process.
· Chromebooks will be provided for students. If the student has their Chromebook at home they will bring Chromebook with them on their first day.
**REMINDER No Additional Food or Beverages will be allowed if is not in Lunch Box or bag**
All of the above required uniforms are to be clean and free of holes
